Accident Repair
When a road traffic accident occurs, the car owner's first point of contact is usually the insurance company. Most insurance companies have preferred suppliers for accident repairs and owners are often directed towards these. Whilst in many cases, these nominated garages will suffice, when it comes to specialist vehicles, they may not have the experience or knowledge to make good the vehicle to the previous condition. General car-repair garages may also lack the ability to source parts or to make, or reshape non-original after-market panels to ensure a perfect fit. Car records at the garages are usually applicable to vehicles under 10 years old and their primary interest is volume of repairs. They are not set up in a way that allows them to take the time and care that is needed to effect a high-quality repair. We have the knowledge and experience to repair minor and major damage to classic cars either directly for the owner or for the insurance company. Our colour swatch library dates from 1970 to the present day and covers most cars made from the late 1950s. We can therefore match almost any colour from this period accurately and restore the vehicle so that the repair is not visible.
